At IFA 2026, Acer Group marked the centennial anniversary of Packard Bell with a full brand relaunch centered on a “Tech it easy” philosophy. Originally founded in 1926, the brand introduced a redesigned visual identity built around a distinctive dot emblem, alongside a fresh portfolio of accessible consumer electronics arriving across EMEA retail channels in late 2026.
Leading the lineup is the DotBook, an entry-level 14.5-inch laptop engineered for everyday productivity, streaming, and web browsing. The broader collection expands beyond conventional personal computing into audio, accessories, and mobile hardware:

- DotBook: A 14.5-inch laptop launching in September starting at €499 (~$539).
- DotLoop: A portable suitcase-style vinyl turntable scheduled for September at €149 (~$161).
- DotTune: A compact home speaker releasing in September priced at €34.99 (~$38).
- DotLine: A colorful 4G feature phone debuting in November at €69 (~$75).
- DotLook: Smart audio glasses enabling music playback and calls without earbuds, arriving in September for €99 (~$107).
- DotShine: A creator-focused ring light coming in October at €39 (~$42).
- DotCombo: A desktop keyboard-and-mouse set launching in September for €39 (~$42).
- DotBass: Color-matched wired headphones available in September at €29 (~$31).
Beyond traditional consumer electronics, Packard Bell entered a strategic partnership with Swiss startup Steasy to expand into smart kitchen technology. The collaboration revealed the Steasy connected mini-steamer, an appliance designed around convenient daily meals, releasing across European markets in October for €199 (~$215). Further joint hardware releases are planned throughout 2027.
Operating as a lifestyle subsidiary within Acer, Packard Bell leverages the parent group’s established operational network. This backend infrastructure includes regional supply logistics, commercial retail channels, and multilingual customer support spanning 28 countries with dedicated service centers across EMEA. The new brand aesthetic embraces four core vibrant colors—orange, purple, green, and yellow—aiming to combine playful styling with utilitarian, approachable home devices for modern consumers seeking simple everyday solutions.
At IFA 2026 Acer also unveiled the DualPlay Mini Project, a portable 7-inch gaming machine for the on-the-go gamers.
