ffx-x2When the Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Limited Edition was announced, PS Vita owners were curious to know whether their portable console would also be on the receiving end of this particular title. Well, here is news that the game will be arriving on the PS Vita platform in the first quarter of next year, where it would be on March 18th, 2014, boasting support for cross save functionality to boot, and going for a recommended retail price of $39.99 a pop.

This combo packs will also be made available as a download on PlayStation Store. For those who do like to own just digital copies alone, but prefer the physical copy itself, will be able to pick up Final Fantasy X at retail stores, and in there, you will be able to check out a voucher that paves the way for you to download Final Fantasy X-2 from the PlayStation Store. How neat is that? Apart from that, the Final Fantasy X | X-2 HD Remaster Collector’s Edition for PS3 will also come with a full size, 40-page hardcover art book that will be filled to the brim with concept sketches, environment art, and characters which make up the magical world of Spira. You will find the art separated into a couple of distinct sections, with one for each game. The original soundtrack has also been thrown into the mix in the form of a Blu-ray disc, offering over 6 hours of audio goodness for true blue fans. [Press Release]
