It was just the other day that the untethered jailbreak for iOS 7 was released which is great news for those running on iOS 7 at the moment. Unfortunately despite Jony Ive’s attempts at remaking iOS and giving it a fresh new look, not everyone is appreciative of his efforts, with some calling it cartoony and too bright, and we have even heard reports of how the parallax effect is actually causing motion sickness. In fact we won’t be surprised if some actually preferred the skeumorphic look of iOS 6 and the good news is that if you wanted to downgrade to iOS 6 and still have a jailbroken iPhone, you’re in luck as hacker iH8sn0w has revealed that a jailbreak for iOS 6.1.3 and 6.1.4 is on its way.

There’s no telling when the jailbreak will be released, but presumably it will be soon, or at the very least it is progressing along nicely, thanks to a video (above) released by iH8sn0w which shows the jailbreak running on a fifth-generation iPod touch. Unfortunately iH8sn0w thinks that his jailbreak tool will most likely be a Mac-only release, meaning that those running on PCs might not be able to enjoy the fruits of his labor and might have to find someone with a Mac if they wish to jailbreak their phone, but we suppose it really depends on how badly you want to revert back to iOS 6. We’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information regarding the jailbreak’s release, so check back with us later for more updates.
