Ubisoft’s Rayman Legends was released back in September on several video game platforms, including the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, PlayStation Vita and PC. Aside from offering a next-gen version of the game, Mac is one platform that would probably love to get their hands on the title. Well, Mac gamers, your day has come as Ubisoft has announced Rayman Legends will be available to play on December 12.

Feral Interactive has handled the Mac port of Rayman Legends, which will be available for $20 across a number of digital distribution platforms. Minimum system requirements for Rayman Legends includes a 1.5Ghz Intel Mac running Mac OS 10.8.5 or later, at least 4GB of RAM and a 256MB graphics card or better. Unfortunately, the following graphics cards won’t be supported: ATI X1xxx series, ATI HD2xxx series, Intel GMA series, NVIDIA 7xxx series and NVIDIA 8xxx series.

Rayman Legends is a title that I thoroughly enjoyed when it first released and I’m certain Mac gamers will also enjoy the title. If you enjoy side-scrolling platform games, then it doesn’t get any better than Ubisoft’s latest Rayman games as not only are they fun to play through, but their graphics and art style really are incredible. And what makes its upcoming Mac release even better is that it’s only $20.
