While the Google Play app store isn’t exactly chock full of pornographic apps, there are some apps like the one pictured above that will deliver photos of sexy girls onto your phone, which some users might choose to use for wallpapers or other purposes.

Those photos aren’t exactly explicit but it seems that in an effort to make the Google Play Store safe and open to people of all ages, Google has recently updated their Developer Program policies which will essentially ban apps like the one pictured above.

What this means is that if you wanted apps that delivered such images, you would have to expand your search beyond the Google Play Store borders and perhaps try third-party app stores and the likes, although this is highly unrecommended since this could lead to possible malware infection as some app stores might not review app submissions as thoroughly.

In addition to ridding the Play Store of such apps, Google has also introduced a new policy in which apps that are filled with deceptive or misleading apps, or appear on sketchy ads or websites whether it by choice or not by choice, could potentially lead to the app being removed from the Play Store. It does seem a little harsh but we guess Google is trying to improve its Play Store image for the better.
