According to a new report, backed up by a purported leaked sales guide image, Samsung is going to launch a lineup of premium headphones in the near future. The image reveals that this new lineup will consist of both in-ear and on-ear models. There’s really no question of device compatibility since they’re going to feature a 3.5mm pin, which would make the new headphones compatible with almost every mobile device and even laptop out there. At least one of the models will feature the ability to wireless connect with a device.

Even if compatibility isn’t going to be an issue, certain features would only work when the headphones are used with Samsung smartphones and tablets. These new headphones are reportedly going to come with support for launching the S Voice application, allowing users to make voice commands on a connected Samsung mobile device without actually having to pick it up.

As per the rather steep prices mentioned in the sales guide, one can expect that Samsung’s new premium headphones will also offer an outclass sound quality. Samsung hasn’t said when and in which markets the headphones are going to be launched, so all we can do at this point is wait for an official word. [Image via Sammobile]
