sparkAt the end of last year, Microsoft did introduce Project Spark in an open beta form, and just in case you were wondering what Project Spark is all about, this happens to be a brand new game creation tool which is made available to Xbox One as well as Windows 8.1 users. Well, we are pleased to announce that Microsoft will be rolling out Project Spark on an official basis later this coming October, not to mention introducing a special starter pack for game developers as well.

Microsoft mentioned that as the game remains in open beta on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 at the moment, aspiring game developers will have to display a little bit more patience to see the final version of Project Spark appear this coming October 7th. Those who are interested in picking up the Xbox One disc edition of Project Spark can do so for $39 a pop, where this starter pack will come with sounds, effects, animations, props, and advanced creator features, and offline content, among others. There is also the option to download Project Spark on Xbox One and Windows 8.1 if you are not so much of a physical media person yourself.

It would be interesting to see what kind of creations can arrive with the advent of Project Spark officially, don’t you think so? [Press Release]
