assassins_creed_unity_e3_2014_2As gamers might have heard by now, Ubisoft’s upcoming Assassin’s Creed Unity will feature a four player co-op mode. If you love playing multiplayer games then we guess Unity is a title you’ll want to keep an eye out for. However it seems that for Assassin’s Creed Rogue, the game could only feature a single player mode.

This information comes courtesy of this month’s issue of Game Informer (via Eurogamer) where it was revealed that the game would only have single player mode. We’re not sure why Ubisoft has decided not to include a co-op mode, but if you don’t mind single player then we guess this really shouldn’t affect your experience too much.

For those hearing about Assassin’s Creed Rogue for the first time, the title is Ubisoft’s second Assassin’s Creed game for 2014. However unlike Unity, Rogue was designed for current-gen consoles like the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360, so if you were still on the fence about getting a next-gen console, then Rogue could be a game worth your consideration.

The game is also expected to pick up where Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag left off. In any case Assassin’s Creed Rogue has been pegged for a release later this year where it should be hitting the shelves come 11th of November, so mark that date down if this is an Assassin’s Creed title you don’t plan on missing out on!
