apple-logo3It cannot be said enough – the iPhone 6, or whatever it is going to be called when it is finally unveiled to the masses in its sapphire display infused glory, will definitely be a hit, although just how huge of a hit will it be remains to be seen. However, there is a general sense of optimism that is going through the tech community, especially when high trade-in volume for the iPhone has triggered speculation that sales of the iPhone 6 will be nothing short of tremendous.

Jeff Trachsel, chief marketing officer at NextWorth, shared his sentiment, “There’s tremendous pent-up demand for a larger-screen iPhone. We’ve seen a lift of about 350% from the baseline this week. That’s up from a lift of 182% last year, or almost two times the acceleration.”

Are people that sick of the previous generation iPhone that they simply cannot wait to get hold of the new one? It does make me wonder when will Apple introduce dust and waterproof capabilities to their flagship handset as a standard feature, as some of its Android-powered rivals have already done so. Perhaps that is not so much an issue among iPhone users? Just how well do you think the next generation iPhone will do when it is finally made available to the open market? The two screen strategy has surely worked its magic in raising plenty of interest.
