sprint-lg-g3-vigor-press_0A couple of months ago, LG trademark names like “LG G3 Vigor” and if you were wondering what the phone is about, wonder no more because both AT&T and Sprint have recently announced that they will be officially carrying the handset. The phone will feature a similar design to the LG G3, although it will not pack the same high-end specs.

In fact the specs of the LG G3 Vigor appear to be similar to that of the LG G3 Beat, suggesting that we could be looking at a rebranded device. After all the LG G3 Beat was announced for China, Europe, and CIS markets, so we guess the LG G3 Vigor would be its US equivalent.

That being said, the phone will sport a 5-inch display, but instead of the LG G3’s QHD display, it will feature a 720p HD resolution instead. It will also sport a 1.2GHz quad-core processor under its hood with a 1.3MP front-facing camera and an 8MP rear-facing camera. LG has also included the laser auto-focus system found on the LG G3 and will also be gaining Knock Code functionality.

It will come with a 2,530mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat. Sprint’s LG G3 Vigor will be arriving this Friday where it can be yours at $0 with a two-year contract, but AT&T has yet to announce the handset’s pricing and availability.
