iphone-6-china-mobile-ad

There has been no end to rumors about what Apple is going to announce on September 9th, today. In a few moments the event is going to kick off and after the CEO is done talking about stats and revenue and growth, he’ll get down to the business of unveiling the new iPhones. It is widely believed that we will be treated to two new iPhones today, both with larger displays. A China Mobile ad that shows off both new models has been spotted and it apparently confirms the bit about the 4.7-inch and 5.5-inch display sizes.

China Mobile is a major carrier down in the People’s Republic and it started carrying Apple’s smartphones officially last year. There’s no reason to doubt that the carrier won’t receive the new Apple iPhones so there might be some truth to this ad, unless of course someone went to great lengths to fabricate these fake renders.

The ad shows two new iPhone models side by side, the larger model with its 5.5-inch display and the other with its 4.7-inch display. Both renders appear to be quite similar to all iPhone 6 dummy units we have seen up till now so the actual design won’t take anyone by surprise.

The calendar icon on the 4.7-inch iPhone 6 model shows the September 10th date which is presumably when the pre-orders will kick off. Rumor has it that the iPhone 6 release will take place on September 19th. Even though you find this hard to believe, worry not, we shall know the official details soon enough.
