Games such as Halo which are sci-fi based and chock full of action seem like the perfect candidate for a movie or TV show. Well the good news is that Microsoft seems to agree as you might recall that they are making a Halo TV show called Halo: Nightfall. Now earlier this year, they released a first look trailer, but if you wanted something more substantial, here it is.

Microsoft has since released the full official trailer for the upcoming TV series. It’s longer than the first look trailer and if you’re fast enough, you will be able to spot the iconic Halo energy sword being wielded by a Covenant soldier. The TV series will focus on agent Jameson Locke where he will investigate a biological weapon that seems to only affect humans.

If you’re wondering why that name sounds familiar, it is because Locke will be a playable character in the upcoming Halo 5: Guardians game that has been pegged for a release in 2015. The TV series is expected to make its debut come 11th of November alongside the Halo: The Master Chief Collection, although some expected it will premiere the day before during the official HaloFest livestream.

For those who missed our coverage, the Master Chief Collection will consist of a bunch of old Halo games such as Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary, Halo 2 Anniversary, Halo 3, Halo 4, as  well as access to the Halo 5: Guardians multiplayer beta. In any case if you have a few minutes to spare, you can check out the trailer above to see what awaits you.
