HTC’s “Eye Experience” is basically a suite of camera functions that supercharge the devices’ ability to take photos and videos. The said update has already been released for the unlocked and developer variants of the HTC One (M8). According to an HTC executive, T-Mobile will be one of the first carriers to bring over this update to its One (M8) owners. The HTC Eye Experience update for T-Mobile HTC One (M8) is expected to release tomorrow.

The information comes straight from Mo Versi, who is the vice president of product management at HTC. He announced via Twitter that technical approval has been released for this update and that T-Mobile should start pushing it out over-the-air by tomorrow.

There shouldn’t be any delays provided that no major bugs are found at the last moment. If nothing like that crops up then it would be smooth sailing and the update should land on T-Mobile HTC One (M8) units within a day.

The features enhance camera functionality and offer ability to track up to four faces during a video chat. It will also allow users to take selfies by simply saying “Action” or “Say Cheese.” Other features in the update include photo booth, split capture, face fusion and live makeup, which basically smooths the skin before taking a selfie.
