Earlier we reported that T-Mobile had pushed out the Android 7.0 Nougat update to the HTC One M9. We suppose that makes sense given that the HTC One M9 isn’t exactly old. However the good news is that if you’re still holding onto your HTC One M8 and weren’t really expecting it to be updated, you’ll be pleased to learn that is not the case.
While Apple is definitely not the first to the market with a dual lens camera, given Apple’s reputation and the fact that everyone just loves to talk about (and bash) the company, the iPhone 7 Plus’ dual camera setup certainly has the tech world talking up a storm about the feature.
Earlier this year in February, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update was released to HTC’s One M9 on Sprint and T-Mobile. However the question many HTC users were asking is, when will the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update be making its way to HTC handsets on AT&T’s network? The good news is that it will be coming today.

The HTC One M8 was launched in 2014 which means as far as smartphones are concerned, it is a pretty old piece of technology. However we reckon there are probably still plenty of users who are still using the device as they might be stuck on 24-month commitments, or don’t see the need to keep switching things up.
The HTC One M9 is currently the latest flagship phone from the company, but for those who are still using older devices like the HTC One M8, fret not because HTC has not forgotten about you. In fact according to a tweet by HTC’s VP of Product Management, Mo Versi, the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update will be headed your way tonight.
It has been a few months since Google released Android 6.0 Marshmallow. As is the case with major Android software updates the first in line to receive the new software were Google’s Nexus devices. Google no longer partners with OEMs on Google Play Edition devices but it did release a couple of models not too long ago, the idea was to have another set of devices that offered vanilla Android experience and were promised major software updates right after they were released for Nexus devices. Naturally many liked this proposition, they could get a high-end device from the likes of Samsung and HTC without […]

Is there a huge difference between the HTC One M9 and its predecessor, the HTC One M8? Unfortunately not much. There is an upgraded processor, a change in the camera, but other than that the design of the phone is largely similar and its display and resolution have remained untouched as well. This begs the question as to what would make an upgrade so compelling, especially since you could technically get […]

It’s the same device with the same design and specifications, it only runs Microsoft’s platform instead of Google’s. HTC One M8 for Windows Phone owners on Verizon are receiving a new software update today, the carrier is finally rolling out […]
