colour-test-context-2-900-90Nokia has phone ranging from budget devices like the Nokia Lumia 530 to the more high-end devices like the Nokia Icon and the Lumia 1520. Given that some devices are of the budget variety, it also means that Nokia has had to cut back on certain features, like the camera for example.

Now if you’re wondering just how well the cameras across Nokia’s lineup stacks up against each other, the folks at TechRadar have put together a very detailed review in which they compared 4 Nokia phones across the spectrum against one another. This includes the Lumia 1020, Lumia 930, Lumia 635, and the Lumia 530.

Interestingly enough despite the Lumia 1020 and Lumia 930 being towards the higher spectrum of things, TechRadar found that the Lumia 635 actually managed to hold its own. Granted the sharpness might not necessarily be on par with its higher-end siblings, but for the money that you are paying for the device, it does seem to be a relatively good deal.

The Lumia 530, the successor to the highly successful Lumia 520, turned out to be a disappointment as the images from the camera were very software, not to mention the fixed focusing was a bit of a disappointment, although strangely enough it did take some photos that proved to be rather tasteful. In any case if you’d like to check out the review, head on over to TechRadar’s website for the details.
