xbox year oneIt might have seemed like time has flown, but it has been almost a year since the Xbox One was launched in November 2013. Well the good news for Xbox One gamers is that Microsoft is looking to reward your loyalty as the company has recently announced that they will be giving away gifts to Xbox One gamers.

This will apply to gamers who have bought the console anywhere between the 22nd of November 2013 to the 11th of November 2014 and have clocked at least 10 hours of usage on the console, as outlined by Microsoft’s fine print. So what will gamers get? Well for starters, gamers can look forward to a Year One Gamer Picture, new Xbox One backgrounds, and a Year One background image for use on social media.

Gamers can also look forward to a free rental of Halo 4: Forward Unto Dawn, a free rental of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of the Gods movie, along with a sampler pack of Dragon Ball Z TV episodes. Microsoft will also be choosing fans at random where these fans can win themselves all sorts of things, ranging from an Xbox One Limited Edition Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare Bundle, to 75 Platinum in Warframe, to a Forza Horizon 2 Limited Edition Casio G-Shock Men’s digital sports watch.

If you’d like to see the complete list, head on over to Microsoft’s Xbox website for the details where you can also learn more about the eligibility of being considered for these prizes.
