z4 leakWith CES and MWC 2015 coming up in the next few months, we’re sure many are excited to see what kind of new mobile products companies might have in store for us. For Sony fans, chances are you guys are looking forward to the next flagship smartphone, which at the moment has been tentatively known as the Xperia Z4.

Well it seems that thanks to recent leaks, a potential design of the upcoming Xperia Z4 could have been revealed. This leak is courtesy of the recent Sony Pictures hack in which a lot of confidential Sony information was released, one of which is an alleged product placement pitch for the Xperia Z4 in the upcoming James Bond movie, Spectre.

The leaked email also contained some potential fees that Sony is willing to pay the directors and James Bond himself (Daniel Craig) in order to get the phone into the movie. Assuming the email is accurate, Craig could be walking away with a very cool $5 million just for using the phone alone – yikes!

Now there’s no telling if the design of the Xperia Z4 is going to be its final design, which you can see in the image above. It is possible that these are just mockups so that the movie director and producers will have a better idea of what they can expect and how they might weave it into the show, if they were to agree to Sony’s offer.

If anything the design reminds us a lot of Sony’s other Xperia lineups, which in some ways is disappointing as we’re sure many have hoped that Sony would come up with something different entirely. Either way take it with a grain of salt for now, but check back with us during CES and/or MWC 2015 for the details, if there are any to be had.
