theme hospitalIf you have been gaming since the 90s, chances are you might have come across a variety of simulation-type games like SimCity, Sim Tower, and Theme Hospital. The good news is that if you loved playing Theme Hospital growing up and want to relive the experience, you now can as EA is giving the game away.

The give away of Theme Hospital is part of Origin’s “On The House” program in which EA will be giving out free games, and the latest title to be given away is the classic game of Theme Hospital which is normally priced at $4.99 on Origin. Granted it’s only $4.99 but a free game is a free game, right?

The game was released back in 1997 and it basically gives players the task of what it might be like to run a hospital, although chances are this is definitely not a reflection of the real world. Players will have to learn how to handle emergencies such as Spare Ribs in which patients grow an extra rib, King Complex where patients impersonate Elvis, and our favorite the Bloaty Head syndrome which is pretty obvious given the name.

In order to download the game, players will need to have an Origin account, so if you don’t already, you should go right ahead and sign up for one. Previously EA had given away titles like Dragon Age: Origins, Peggle, Wing Commander 3, Dead Space and Battlefield 3, so if you’re a fan of free games, this could be worth checking out.
