Fans of the Hunger Games franchise have been keeping their fingers crossed for the first trailer and they’ll certainly be happy to know that the first The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 trailer has finally been released today. Those who have read the Hunger Games book are aware that this part is going to be quite tragic but the trailer isn’t all that, it does include some moments of happiness during its brief runtime, and only increases the anticipation for the movie which is due to arrive later this year.

There’s no shortage of impressive visuals in the first The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 trailer, there are plenty of explosions and there’s even dancing. Jennifer Lawrence who plays the leading role of Katniss Everdeen, is obviously a part of this trailer.

In fact the trailer offers quick glimpses at the ensemble cast of this movie throughout its 106-second duration, you’re likely to miss some of them if you’re not paying attention.

The trailer depicts a scene of reconciliation between Katniss and Peeta, the wedding of Annie and Finnick and even gives us a glimpse at Commander Lyme.

The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 is the last film in the Hunger Games franchise which first premiered back in 2012. It’s going to hit theaters later this year, on November 20th to be precise.
