While one can say that it is a given for most celebrities to be in vogue with their online lives, sporting Facebook and Twitter accounts to keep in touch with their many millions of fans, some prefer to remain off the grid. Hunger Games star Jennifer Lawrence is one of them, for example, where a fan asked the question, “Why don’t you have Twitter and will you ever get it?”, before receiving the answer, “I will never get Twitter.”
Lawrence continued to elaborate, “I’m not very good on phones or technology. I can not really keep up with emails, so the idea of Twitter is so unthinkable to me. I don’t really understand what it is, it’s this weird enigma that people talk about. And it’s fine, I respect that, but no, I will never get a Twitter. And if you ever see a Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram that says it’s me; it most certainly is not me.”
However, this does not mean that she does not have a Twitter account – she has one that is ready and waiting to be used, but right now remains in the proverbial garage, so to speak. After all, Lawrence herself was a victim in the recent private photos leak that involved a fair number of celebrities, which could explain her aversion to social media at this point in time.
