hitman sniperFans of the Hitman franchise might recall that last year, Square Enix Montreal announced Hitman: Sniper, a game based on the Hitman: Sniper Challenge pre-order bonus game. Well the good news is that if you enjoy Hitman games, sniper-style games, or if you enjoy games from the Square Enix Montreal division that also gave us Hitman GO, you will be pleased to learn that the game will be arriving on mobile devices tomorrow.

According to the company’s description of the game, in case this is the first time you have heard of it, “In Hitman: Sniper, you take on the role of Agent 47 in this highly competitive sniper/assassination game for phones and tablets. Set in beautiful Montenegro, you will face multiple scenario-driven contracts on one hugely varied, evolving map that contains many targets and assignments, each of them designed to be replayed, not only to finesse your approach, but to achieve the perfect score on the leaderboards.”

That being said there have been some changes since the game’s announcement. What was previously meant to be a free-to-play title is now a premium title. This is good news for gamers who might not appreciate having to deal with in-app purchases which are typical of free-to-play titles and usually ends up with the gamer spending more money than they had previously planned.

In any case if this sounds like a game you might be interested in playing, do keep an eye out for it in the iTunes App Store or Google Play for its release tomorrow.
