iron_man_galaxy_s6_edgeThe Samsung Galaxy S6 edge Iron Man edition which was launched late last month is definitely one of the cooler designs or external variant of the flagship smartphone from the South Korean conglomerate. While I am quite sure that it does fetch a premium due to its limited availability, this does not mean that it warrants a $91,000 price tag, right?

However, beauty – and in this particular case, value, is in the eye of the beholder, and a particularly rich person over in China thinks that the handset is worth 568,788 Yuan – which is the equivalent of $91,000, for model number 66 of this highly sought after smartphone.

This does not come across as surprising, however, as the handset itself was released just in South Korea alone – which means that the rest of the world would find it hard pressed to pick one up. Chinese retailer JD.com was the one who decided to auction off number 66 of the Iron Man Galaxy S6 edge, where it garnered no less than 92,429 bids, resulting in the winning 568,788 Yuan bid. With just 1,000 of these bad boys running around in the open market, it certainly does not warrant that kind of insane price tag in our opinion – not at this moment, anyway, until it becomes really rare many years down the road.
