If the rumors are to be believed, there is a good chance that Sony could launch three new phones before the end of the year. This includes the Sony Xperia Z5, the Xperia Z5 Compact, and more recently the Xperia Z5 Plus. In fact recent rumors have even suggested that the Xperia Z5 Plus could be the first smartphone with a 4K display.
That being said, how will the phone look like? According to a recent post on Weibo (via Xperia Blog), the rendering pictured above was leaked online which apparently depicts the Xperia Z5 Plus. The image is a bit blurry so in terms of details, it’s hard to make anything out. It also looks very plain but at the same time it has a Sony-feel to it.
We suppose if anything, we have to give credit to Sony for being so consistent in terms of design. It’s also hard to tell if this rumored rendering depicts a 5.5-inch display which is what the rumors are claiming. In any case it is a very understated design which we suppose some of you guys might enjoy, but if you were hoping for a more radical change, you might be disappointed.
Take it with a grain of salt for now, but there is a possibility that Sony could share the official details at IFA 2015 which kicks off next month, so do check back with us then for more information. In the meantime how do you guys feel about this rendering?
