ele watchElephone might not be a brand many of you guys are familiar with. For those who are unfamiliar, they are a company who makes smartphones but it looks like they are gearing up to enter the wearables industry as well. Now the company has teased their upcoming smartwatch a couple of weeks ago, but now a listing on GearBest (via Pocketnow) has revealed the device in all of its glory.

So what can we expect with the ELE smartwatch? For starters it will come with pretty standard features one might expect from such a device. It will feature a 1.5-inch 320×320 round display, making it one of the biggest round smartwatches available at the moment. Under the hood, there is a MediaTek MT2601 chipset powering the watch along with 512MB of RAM.

The watch will feature a metal casing and will be IP67 certified, meaning that you don’t have to worry about getting the watch a bit wet. There are interchangeable straps and users can choose between the metal links and the leather wrist strap, and to top it off, it will come with a pretty sizable 400mAh battery.

It will run on Android Wear so the usually Android Wear apps and features can be expected. However the ELE watch does not appear to have GPS (at least it was not mentioned in the specs list), so if you plan to use it with running apps or map apps, you might be out of luck. It is also expected to be priced at $115 but no word on when it will be officially released, but we will keep our eyes peeled.
