Earlier this year Microsoft unveiled the Xbox One Elite controller. It is a pretty awesome-looking controller and pretty cool in terms of its functionality as well. Now we’re sure that this must have made some PlayStation 4 gamers a bit jealous, but fret not if you are willing to spend a little bit of money, you could get it too.

How, you ask? Don’t worry, you won’t have to buy a new console. Instead if you’re unfamiliar, there’s a little device called the CronusMAX PLUS and thanks to a recent firmware update, it seems that they have enabled support for the new Xbox One Elite controller. Basically this means that you plug in the device, and you will be able to use the Xbox One Elite controller on your PS4.

That being said, it works both way. This means that Xbox One gamers who might prefer the DualShock controllers can also use those on their consoles. It will also support Wii U and the WiiMote controllers, for those who might see a need for such things, or alternatively you could use Xbox or PlayStation controllers on your Wii U console.

We have not tried it for ourselves so we can’t speak to its effectiveness, but if you’d like to get your hands on it, the CronusMAX PLUS is currently retailing for $59.95 and will be available for purchase via its website.
