A photo taken indoors in less-than-ideal lighting conditions A photo taken indoors in less-than-ideal lighting conditions[/caption]Verizon has begun to introduce the most recent Android security update for two of the older flagship smartphones from South Korean conglomerate LG, and we are referring to the LG G3 as well as the LG G4 handsets. Of course, in this particular Android security patch that will see the level increase to that of March 1, the update is also said to provide a “faster display response from a sleep state.”

This particular update will arrive in the form of software version VS98625A for the LG G4 and VS98547A for the LG G3, and it might be some time before your respective handsets receive it, as that is always the case with updates. Of course, those who are – is currently rolling out, it may take some time before it hits your device. However, if you’re feeling impatient, are always more than welcome to go to the smartphone’s Settings menu and perform a manual check on the update.

It is nice to see that the older generation hardware has continued to receive support from the manufacturer as well as mobile carrier, as it extends the longevity of the device in the hands of owners who do not want to upgrade their handsets every single year.
