Last year in November after what felt like forever, the rest of us who did not manage to attend Comic-Con were finally treated to the official trailer for the upcoming Warcraft movie. Now in case that wasn’t enough to whet your appetite, you’re in luck because it looks like the folks at Legendary have released a new trailer for a TV spot.
This trailer reuses some of the footage from the official trailer, but at the same time we get a glimpse of some new stuff, mostly Garona who will be part of the movie. So far from what we can tell of the trailer, the movie does look pretty good and promising, but then again trailers are meant to sell us on that notion and given how bad some video game-cum-movies have turned out, we’re trying not to get our hopes up.
However Blizzard is behind the movie and given that the Warcraft franchise is probably one of the company’s biggest franchises, if not the biggest thanks to World of Warcraft, safe to say that they’re probably keeping a close eye on it to ensure that it will live up to the hype, and not end up something like the Doom movie or Alone In The Dark.
The Warcraft movie has been set for a release on the 10th of June, but if you can’t wait until then, hopefully this trailer will be able to tide you over in the meantime.
