If you’re in the market for an affordable notebook you might want to take a look at the latest offering from Asus. The company has launched an affordable VivoBook today. It provides a decent set of specifications for a respectable price, it’s certainly not meant for power users, but if you’re a student or someone looking for a normal notebook this will pretty much have everything that you might need.

The new Asus VivoBook E403SA features an Intel Pentium quadcore processor, 4GB RAM, and 128GB solid state drive storage all of which is packed inside an aluminum case that’s only 0.7 inches thick.

Despite its low price the VivoBook E403SA is quite future-proof because it also features a USB Type-C port which will gradually become the standard. It’s slowly making its way to more and more devices so it’s nice to see that Asus has adopted the advanced USB standard for its affordable notebook.

The VivoBook is available for purchase right away from Amazon and the company’s online store for $399.  That’s a pretty good price considering it also features a 14 inch full HD display, preinstalled Windows 10 Signature Edition, all-day battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, HDMI port and much more. It even comes with a one year domestic warranty.
