If you have been playing video games long enough, think of an FPS title and chances are you might be thinking of some of the classics from back in the day such as Wolfenstein, DOOM, and maybe even Quake. While we have seen Wolfenstein get a modern day makeover, we guess it is now DOOM’s turn.

Just in case you haven’t been following the news, DOOM was announced for a launch on the 13th of May, 2016, and sure enough it has. If you weren’t one of the people who pre-ordered the game, you will be pleased to learn that starting today, you will be able to get your hands on the game whether you plan on playing it on the Xbox One, PS4, or the PC.

As expected the latest installment of DOOM will see players pitted against demonic waves of enemies, and given that the game has also been given brand new graphics, things are more gory than ever, and also infinitely more scary. DOOM will feature a single-player campaign and also a multiplayer campaign, so if you’re more interested in fighting against friends and strangers, you’ve got that option.

DOOM is priced at $60 for the PC, Xbox One, and the PS4. Alternatively there are also Collector’s Editions available which will come with a statue of the Revenant where it is also priced at $120 across all platforms. So, what are you waiting for?
