moto_g4_plus_boxMotorola/Lenovo has a new phone in the works in the form of the Moto G4 and Moto G4 Plus, or at least that’s what the rumors are saying. We’ve seen photos of either device but in terms of specs, it looks like some of the previous rumors have been confirmed thanks to recently leaked photos of the Moto G4 Plus’s box.

Assuming the photos are the real deal, the box seems to confirm certain hardware specs of the phone. For starters we can look forward to a 5.5-inch Full HD display, an octa-core CPU, 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, a 16MP rear-facing camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a pretty decently sized 3,000mAh battery.

From the photo it also seems to suggest that the phone will come with interchangeable back covers. Also what’s interesting is the photo of the box shows the phone with a square cut out on the front, where presumably the fingerprint sensor/home button will go. Oddly enough the previously leaked render showed no such button.

It is possible that the feature might be a Moto G4 Plus exclusive and that the regular Moto G4 will not have it, but then again this would kind of go against what we have seen previously. Either way an event will be hosted later today in India in which we expect to have the official details, so check back with us soon for more updates.
