Dish, a satellite TV company, has announced a new service that’s quite different from what it has been doing for years. It will now come to your home to fix your broken iPhone, yes that’s right, you can now call Dish to have repairs made on damaged iPhones. Starting today, anybody in the United States can request an on-site screen or battery replacement from Dish.

Once a request has been made, Dish will dispatch a technician to the address to complete the job. The phone repair service only covers the iPhone 5 through iPhone 6 Plus, older and newer models of Apple’s smartphone aren’t covered yet.

Dish is going to expand the listing in the coming weeks and will eventually add Android smartphones to the mix as well. Dish promises that it will use “high-quality replacement parts from respected third parties” in the repair jobs, and the biggest convenience for customers is that they don’t have to go to Dish, Dish will come to them.

The service is pricey, though. A battery replacement costs $74.99 with costs going up to $225 if both the display and battery need to be replaced in an iPhone 6 Plus. Screen repairs for 4 inch iPhones cost $134.99, $154.99 for iPhone 6 and $184.99 for iPhone 6 Plus. Full pricing list is available on Dish’s website.

Yes, the prices are higher than what you’d pay at an Apple Store Genius Bar, and the original warranty remains intact as well, but Dish’s service will appeal to those who don’t have an Apple Store near their location or just don’t have the time to go to one.
