Apple’s latest and greatest software update for its mobile devices appears to be having a few problems. It was found to be bricking devices after launch but Apple quickly fixed that problem. Some T-Mobile customers are now complaining of connectivity issues after updating their iPhones to iOS 10. However, that’s not as bad as the porn problem that iOS 10 has. Multiple reports reveal that the GIF search in iOS 10 is bringing up hardcore porn GIFs.

Deadspin first noticed that a very explicit My Little Pony GIF was appearing in search results for the word “butt,” but the problem doesn’t end there.

One of the new features that iMessages has received in iOS 10 is GIF search. Apple is already blocking searches for explicit terms but clearly it needs to improve how this works. Reports reveal that nude GIFs can easily be accessed in iMessages by searching for misspelled body parts.

The Verge hears from a woman who said that her eight-year-old daughter was trying to send a message to her dad this afternoon when the GIF search returned an image of “a woman giving oral sex to a well-endowed male.” The child didn’t search for anything of that nature, she had merely searched for “huge.”

“I grabbed the phone from her immediately. She typed in the word ‘huge,’ which isn’t sexual in any nature. It’s just a word, not like butt or anything else,” the woman added.

Apple banned GIF searches for “butt” some ten hours after the initial report and it has not commented on this latest incident so far. Microsoft’s Bing powers the GIF search and Redmond has not commented on this matter as yet.

The woman says that her daughter is fine as “she had no idea,” but is concerned about the possibility of other kids being exposed to something that can be very traumatizing for a child. She’s certainly right about that, Apple needs to fix this pronto.
