During Apple’s iPhone 7 event last week, the company also took the wraps off a pair of brand new wireless headphones called the AirPods. These are basically the wireless version of the EarPods, and while it does seem to pack some nifty features, we can’t say we’re fans of the design as they essentially look like EarPods with the cable ripped out.
Now if you’re not a fan either, or if maybe you just want a way to prevent yourself from losing them, accessory maker has come up with an accessory for them. Dubbed the AirPods Strap, this is basically a strap that you clip onto each AirPod earpiece that you can then wear around your neck.
So far initial hands-on reviews of the AirPods claim that they are a good fit and that they won’t fall out of your ears. However since not all ears were made equal, there will be some users in which the AirPods won’t sit nicely, so with these cables, we guess it will make it harder for you to lose your earpieces.
However Apple did confirm that they will be selling individual AirPod earpieces in the event that users lose them, so there’s always that option.
