Watching the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade which takes place in New York live on TV is one of the many glorious Thanksgiving traditions. The parade has been broadcast live for 64 years straight and for the first time in six decades, it’s going to be broadcast live on another medium as well. Those who want to watch it will be able to tune in even if they don’t have a TV.

The Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade live stream will be officially available on YouTube. You will be able to tune in via any device as long as it’s connected to the internet and capable of accessing YouTube.

The parade’s live stream is going to be available starting at 9 am ET on Thanksgiving morning. It will be hosted on Verizon’s YouTube channel. Verizon is going to make sure that you get a good look at the proceedings.

According to a report, Verizon is going to set up five cameras along the parade’s route which will be capable of providing 360 degree views. Throughout the stream, facts about the parade will also appear from time to time. The live stream proceedings will be hosted by Marlon Wayans and Olivia Culpo.

This is a pretty big deal as it’s going to be the first parade that’s broadcast on something other than NBC since the network started broadcasting the parade back in 1952.
