Based on the rumors, OnePlus apparently has a new device in the works called the OnePlus 3T. Yesterday Qualcomm seemed to have gotten ahead of themselves and posted a teaser image that pretty much confirmed it, although OnePlus has since followed up with a teaser of their own that also pretty much confirms the device.
While OnePlus does not specifically mention the OnePlus 3T, they do mention in their teaser that the upcoming device will have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset. They also write that it is “T-7”, which is basically a countdown to the actual announcement which is set for the 15th of November, where the device in question will be revealed at 1PM EST.
While all the rumors of the OnePlus 3T are pointing at a smartphone being announced, some of the comments and replies on Twitter have suggested that maybe the “T” stands for tablet. Some users have also expressed their annoyance at how the OnePlus 3 seems to have been “forgotten” in favor of the OnePlus 3T, but if the OnePlus 3T is indeed a tablet than owners of the OnePlus 3 don’t really need to worry.
