OnePlus has officially unveiled its latest flagship tablet, the OnePlus Pad 4, in India. Positioned as a high-performance device, the tablet is designed to bridge the gap between elite entertainment and professional productivity. Its release serves as a strategic move by the company to reinforce its presence in the global premium hardware market.
The device is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 chipset, built on a 3nm process. OnePlus reports that the processor achieved over 4.1 million points on the AnTuTu benchmark, representing a 42% performance increase over its predecessor. To maintain thermal stability, the tablet integrates a massive 45,260 mm2 vapor chamber.
The visual experience is centered around a 13.2-inch LCD display with a 3.4K resolution (3392 x 2400) and a 7:5 aspect ratio. The panel supports an adaptive 144 Hz refresh rate, 1,000 nits of peak brightness, and Dolby Vision. Despite its robust internal hardware, the tablet maintains a slim profile of just 5.94 mm and weighs 672 g.
Memory, Battery, and Software
The OnePlus Pad 4 is available in two configurations:
- 8 GB or 12 GB of LPDDR5X RAM.
- 256 GB or 512 GB of UFS 4.1 internal storage.
A significant highlight is the 13,380 mAh battery, which supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging. The company claims this capacity allows for up to 20 hours of continuous video playback. The device runs on OxygenOS 16.0, based on Android 16, and features various AI-driven productivity tools such as AI Writer, AI Summary, and real-time audio transcription.
The tablet features an eight-speaker spatial audio system, Wi-Fi 7, and Bluetooth 6.0. To enhance its utility as a workstation, OnePlus introduced the Stylo Pro pen and a new backlit smart keyboard with a large trackpad.
Pricing and Availability
The OnePlus Pad 4 will go on sale in India on May 5. The 8 GB/256 GB model is priced at approximately ₹59,999 (~$631), while the 12 GB/512 GB version is positioned at ₹64,999 (~$684). It is available in two colors: Dune Glow and Sage Mist.
