apple_logoFrom time to time, developers tend to soft launch their apps in certain markets as a way to test response and also to see if any issues crop up before releasing it to the rest of the world. Apple has done this themselves when they launched the Apple Support app in the Netherlands last month, and a report from TechCrunch has revealed that it is now available in the US.

As the name implies, this is an app that allows users to gain access to Apple Support while on the go. “Need help? Apple Support app is your personalized guide to the best options from Apple. Find answers with articles tailored to your products and questions. Call, chat or email with an expert right away, or schedule a callback when it’s convenient. Get a repair at an Apple Store or a nearby Apple Authorized Service Provider. Apple Support is here to help.”

As TechCrunch points out, the app is personalized to each user. This means that the app will know what devices are registered and linked to your Apple ID, which means that you won’t have to keep track of which model/year of Apple product that you own, especially since sometimes this information is important, not to mention it can speed up the process as the support rep will also have access to this.

Users will also be able to chat directly with an Apple service expert within the app itself, so if there are some questions you want to ask, you can do it within the app. If you’d like to get your hands on it, hit up the iTunes App Store for the download.
