lg-probeamThe thing about getting big screen TVs is that they can be expensive and they can also take up quite a lot of space. This can be problematic if you’re on a budget and/or your living room is too small for such a big TV. This is where projectors can come in handy as they can project huge images and all you’ll need is either a screen or a clean wall.

LG understands that market and has since announced the LG ProBeam. This is an upcoming projector that the company will show off at CES 2017 next year that is aimed at home cinema enthusiasts. This is thanks to the projector’s “advanced laser engine” that is apparently capable of projecting up to 2,000 lumens of brightness.

It is also capable of projecting Full HD images, so for the most part depending on how big you plan on projecting your screen, images should remain relatively sharp. The projector also comes with features such as Sound Sync Adjustment that helps pair it with Bluetooth speakers. There is also Wireless Mirroring that uses the Miracast technology to project content from smart devices onto the screen.

The best part is that the LG ProBeam is relatively small and light at 2.1kg, which means that taking it with you on the go, like to a party or to someone else’s house should not be a problem. No word on pricing or availability just yet.
