Resident Evil 7 certainly marks a very long way since the series was first launched all those years ago. Not only does it look amazing in terms of graphics, but its gameplay seems to be bringing the game back to its horror roots, which is a good thing especially when you consider all the hype that Konami’s Silent Hills was getting.

Now if you’ve been meaning to check out the game, you might have heard that Resident Evil 7’s demo, The Beginning Hour, has been pretty much an exclusive to the PS4. However the good news for PC gamers is that in an announcement by Capcom, it seems that the demo will soon be finding its way onto the PC and Xbox One consoles.

According to Capcom, “The final update for the Resident Evil biohazard Teaser: Beginning Hour demo, “Midnight,” is coming to PS4, PS4 Pro and PSVR today. Plus, the Xbox One demo will be available starting December 9th, and the PC demo will be available starting December 19th.” Note that this isn’t the actual game itself but rather a glimpse as to what players will be able to expect.

So far based on the trailer we see above, it looks great and it also looks like it could give you a good scare if you’re into that kind of thing. So if you’re an Xbox One or PC gamer, then the 9th of December and 19th of December are dates you’ll want to look forward to. In the meantime Resident Evil 7 has been set for a release on the 24th of January, 2017.
