We’ve already seen countless rumors and reports about the Galaxy S8 and we’re bound to hear more until Samsung officially announces the flagship smartphone. Much has already been speculated about the handset’s specifications but the latest rumor is about something that’s very integral to the user experience: battery life. It’s claimed that the Galaxy S8 battery size is going to be 3,250mAh. Find out after the jump whether or not this is going to be any good.

Well, that all depends on different factors, including but not limited to the power efficiency of other important components like the processor and memory, but overall, users should expect a slight improvement compared to the Galaxy S7.

The Galaxy S7 and the Galaxy S7 Edge feature a 3,000mAh and a 3,600mAh battery respectively while this latest rumor suggests that the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus are going to feature a 3,250mAh and 3,750mAh battery. They will only be marginally bigger in size compared to the predecessors.

Now it’s not like there aren’t any phones on the market that have batteries significantly larger than those we might end up seeing in the Galaxy S8 but that’s beside the point. It remains to be seen just how well the battery in these new flagships will perform because quite a lot of people will purchase the Galaxy S8 due to some of the new amazing features it’s expected to offer.
