So we know for a fact that Sony will be present at MWC 2017. As to what the company will be announcing is really anyone’s guess, but there’s a good chance that the Sony Xperia X (2017) will be one of the phones. This is thanks to a recently leaked render in which it gives us a look at what to expect.

This is actually not the first time the Xperia X (2017) has been leaked. Back in January earlier this year an image of the handset surfaced, and from what we can tell it seems that this recent render is more or less similar compared to the earlier leak. At the very least this seems to suggest that the leaks/rumors are consistent, but then again that hardly makes it official or real.

Specs of the Xperia X (2017) remain unclear but it is one of several handsets that Sony is rumored to announce. According to the rumors, Sony will apparently be launching as many as 4 devices at the event which is taking place next week, and it seems that the Xperia X (2017) will be one of them.

The design of the new Xperia X isn’t particularly eye-catching, but we guess it seems functional at the very least. Take it with a grain of salt for now, but if you are interested in Sony’s smartphone efforts then tune in next week for the official details.
