BlackBerry is no longer making its own smartphones. It has signed a global licensing agreement with TCL which gives the Chinese company the rights to manufacture and sell BlackBerry-branded smartphones. It officially announced one such device at the Mobile World Congress 2017 called the BlackBerry KEYone. According to a new report, TCL might have two additional BlackBerry phones on the way.

TCL Communications Nicolas Zibell told CNET in an interview that the company is going to have a total of three BlackBerry phones in its smartphone portfolio this year. What this means is that there are two BB-branded devices yet to come from TCL.

A source familiar with TCL’s plans mentioned in the report claims that one of the new BlackBerry handsets is going to be one that’s all-touchscreen. Think of it as a successor to the DTEK60 which TCL also built for BlackBerry, but TCL is expected to drop the DTEK branding for this new device.

No word as yet on what the specifications of these two new handsets are going to be and if they’re going to be aimed towards the mid-range or premium segment of the market. Time will tell, but we still don’t know for how long we’ll have to wait to see those two new BlackBerry handsets.
