It’s kind of strange that flagship smartphones that pack the latest features and technology always seem to be lacking huge batteries, which we reckon would make it even more compelling. This isn’t to say that battery life on flagships are terrible, but if they could sport bigger batteries, that’d be great.

That being said if you’re after a smartphone with a potentially massive battery, then you might be interested to learn that the Moto E4 Power has recently stopped by the FCC carrying a whopping 5,000mAh battery. The handset carries the model number XT1770 and while Motorola has yet to make any kind of official announcement, given that the Moto E3 was launched last year (pictured above), it wouldn’t be a stretch to think that a successor could be in the works.

Specs of the Moto E4 Power are unknown, save for its battery size. However based on the specs of the Moto E3, the Moto E4 and its variants will most likely end up being of the low-end variety. Then again with its low-end specs and its massive battery, this should result in a handset that could possibly last users for days on end, which might be great for a backup device or for a device for your kids.
