The sequel to the original Blade Runner movie has been in the pipeline for a very long time. It was confirmed last year that there’s going to be another movie in this franchise. The first official Blade Runner 2049 trailer was released in December last year and fans of the movie will now appreciate the fact that a new Blade Runner 2049 trailer has been released today.
Blade Runner 2049 stars Harrison Ford, Ryan Gosling, Ana de Armas, Jared Leto, Robin Wright, and others. The new movie will be set 30 years after the events of the original movie. The last we saw of the blade runner character was when it set off on a mission to track Rick Deckard to find out some lost secrets.
Sony has released a new Blade Runner 2049 trailer today that includes more footage from the upcoming movie. The original movie was directed by Ridley Scott and the sequel has Denis Villeneuve in the director’s chair.
The new Blade Runner 2049 trailer also doesn’t reveal much information about the plot of the new movie itself but it does provide a sense of the movie’s feel. Whether or not fans will take to it, remains to be seen. Blade Runner 2049 opens in theaters across the country on October 6th, 2017.
