The biggest gaming convention of the year is going to take place next month. E3 2017 kicks off in the second week of June and the biggest names in the industry will be heading over to make some great new announcements. Sony will be there as well. The company today confirmed the date and timing of its E3 2017 press conference where it will be making PlayStation-related announcements.

Sony is likely to focus more on games and software at E3 2017 given that it has got hardware announcements out of the way. The PlayStation 4 Slim and PlayStation 4 Pro are both out and so is the company’s virtual reality headset.

The company has now started sending invitations to the press for its E3 2017 press conference. Sony is sticking with its usual E3 slot. The press conference is going to take place on Monday, June 12th.

Sony is expected to reveal more information about some highly anticipated titles like the new God of War, Spider-Man, Days Gone, Detroit: Become Human, and more.

EA and Activision might make some announcements as well, they might be related to Star Wars: Battlefront 2 and Call of Duty: WW2.

We still have over a month to go before we find out what Sony has in store for us. Mark your calendars for June 12th, 2017 if you’re really looking forward to seeing all that Sony has to show at E3 2017.
