Back in 2015, Taylor Swift was one of the hottest artists of the year and when she announced that she would not be making her latest materials available for streaming, it was a pretty big deal. It was also a pretty big deal when Apple managed to land Swift as an exclusive to Apple Music.

This meant that other streaming platforms such as Spotify were missing out, but that is no longer the case. In a post by the official Taylor Swift Twitter account, it seems that the artist and her management have decided to bring her entire music back catalog back onto all streaming services.

This is apparently done in celebration of Swift’s 1989 album selling a whopping 10 million copies, which is a massive achievement by today’s standards, and also gaining the 100 million song certification from the RIAA. What this means is that if you’re a Spotify user or if you use any other music streaming service, you should now be able to access the artist’s entire catalog of music, assuming that’s what you want.

As TechCrunch points out, the move by Swift goes to show that perhaps artists are starting to take music streaming platforms more seriously, especially in the face of declining physical sales, but either way this is good news for fans.
