If you’re the type that loves attending concerts of your favorite musicians, then you might be interested to learn that YouTube has recently introduced a new feature to its platform where users can now find out about an artist’s upcoming concert while watching their music videos. This is thanks to a collaboration between YouTube and Ticketmaster.

According to YouTube, “We’ve been experimenting with ways we can offer a ticketing experience to fans and we’re excited to announce our first ticketing partnership with Ticketmaster. Starting today, we will begin featuring hundreds of artist’s upcoming U.S. tour dates on their YouTube videos. Fans enjoying an artist’s official music video on YouTube can now learn about upcoming concert listings and with a simple click, go to Ticketmaster to purchase tickets.”

YouTube believes that their massive user based combined with Ticketmaster’s roster of concerts means that music lovers should have an easier time finding the concerts that they’re interested in and purchasing tickets to them. However it should be noted that this new feature is only applicable for Ticketmaster shows in North America right now, but there are plans to eventually expand it to the rest of the world.

So if you live in the North America region, then this is a feature you’ll want to keep an eye out for.
