[CES 2018] ASUS has unveiled a new ZenBook 13 (model number UX331UAL) at the Consumer Electronics Show 2018 in Las Vegas. It’s a light and powerful notebook that’s powered by Windows 10. ASUS says that customers who pick up this machine will get the ultimate in mobility given its “feather-light” all-metal chassis and a battery life of up to 15 hours. Sounds very impressive to say the least.

Lofty claims in the official press release aside, customers will obviously make up their own mind about the merits of this machine once they actually get their hands on it.

The new ZenBook 13 is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor coupled with 16GB of RAM and 1TB of PCIe SSD storage. The Harman Kardon audio system provides a powerful immersive sound experience.

The internals are packaged inside an all-metal chassis that weighs 2.17lb. It’s powered by Windows 10 with features like Windows Hello and Modern Standby. The entire machine looks sleek and easy to carry around.

The company is yet to confirm precisely how much the ZenBook 13 is going to cost when it’s finally released. It hasn’t even confirmed when that’s going to happen. ASUS has said that the ZenBook 13 is going to be released in the first half of this year.
