Fujifilm X-H1 Announcement Reportedly Scheduled For February 14

If you have been hearing about the Fujifilm X-H1 and are thinking that it sounds like something you might be interested in, it seems that you won’t have to wait much longer before the camera is officially announced. A report from Fuji Rumors has revealed that the announcement dates for the X-H1 is set for the 14th/15th of February.

Why the two dates, you ask? This is based on Fujifilm’s announcement time which is said to be in Tokyo at 2PM on the 15th of February. What this means is that in other parts of the world, like the US, it is still the 14th of February, so depending on where you live, you can use the 15th of February, Tokyo 2PM time as your guide.

For those learning about the X-H1 for the first time, the camera in question is said to be a new mirrorless from the company and is aimed at videographers, or at least it comes with improved video capture capabilities. This includes 4K at 30fps and HD video at 120fps, along with in-body image stabilization which removes the need to be dependent on the lens for stabilized footage.

We have also heard other rumors, such as how its EVF’s blackout time is reportedly extremely short, meaning that time in between shots will be a lot shorter. That being said, Fujifilm has yet to announce anything yet, so take it with a grain of salt for now, but we’ll be keeping our eyes peeled for more information.
