Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 concept
Posted on Aug 26, 09 07:28 PM PDT

The Sony Ericsson XPERIA X2 isn't even out yet, and the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 concept is already released, making us wonder what kind of wormhole we stepped into to miss the two models in between. Surprisingly enough, for a concept that is touted to be a couple of generations ahead, the specifications aren't anything groundbreaking although it does feature a futuristic looking QWERTY sliding keyboard. Other features are plain vanilla such as the 3.5" touchscreen display, HD video recording capability and a 12-megapixel camera that clearly is already available in other modern smartphones of today. Well, at least the Chrome Silver, Ocean Blue and Sunny Orange offer some semblance of class, but we would expect the real Sony Ericsson XPERIA X5 to be far more advanced by the time it is introduced to the market.
